About the role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR, your primary responsibility will be to identify, engage, and qualify potential clients for our UX design, branding, and digital services. You will be the first point of contact for inbound and outbound leads and play a critical role in building a strong sales pipeline for the design team.

What you get to do?

  • Research and identify potential leads in international markets (US, UK, APAC), focusing on startups, tech companies, and enterprises needing UX, branding, or digital design services.
  • Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry events to generate new opportunities.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and aligning them with Happening Design’s service offerings.
  • Maintain detailed records of leads, interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  • Set up qualified appointments for senior Business Development Managers or Sales Heads to drive the next stage of the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to follow up on inbound leads, campaigns, and nurture them effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in UX design, digital branding, and creative services.

You must have

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales development, lead generation, or business development role, preferably in creative services, design, IT, or SaaS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of the digital design, UX, branding, or creative services domain.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce.
  • Strong research and lead qualification skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive mindset.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections professionally.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to international markets (US, UK, APAC).
  • Basic knowledge of design terminology (UX, wireframes, prototyping, visual storytelling).
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Cognism).
